It is for information to all concerned that Fresh / Renewal applications for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric scholarships for students of Assam belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC / MOBC) are invited for the year 2020-2L through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at www.scholarships.sov.in. Applications will be entertained through online portal only for students studying in Govt. / Govt. aided / Govt. recognized / Madhyamik/ Middle / Primary School / University/ Higher Secondary / Colleges including Medical / Technical lnstitutions etc having valid U-DISE / AISHE / NCVT code only
The timelines for submission and verifications of applications are given below

Note :

(i) For verification of applications, each lnstitution has to fill their lnstjtute's Nodal Officer registration_[grm and get it approved by the State Nodal officer. If the Institute / school / college does not do so, they will not be able to verify the applications online.

(ii)Name, E-mail and contact details of the State Nodal Officer for scholarship schemes are available on the Directorate website www.directorwptbc.assam.gov.in

(iii) The guidelines for the schemes as well as Standard Operating procedure (SOP) and User manual for lnstitutes are available on National Scholarship Portal website www.scholarships.gov.in as well as on the website of the Directorate www.directorwptbc.assam.gov.in

Institutions are informed that timely verification of applications which include scrutiny of documents viz. Caste Certificate of the students, lncome Certificate of the parents/guardian, admissible fees (admission, tuition etc) is the responsibility of the Institution Nodal Officer and will also be responsible/liable for any false or incorrect information. tt is also the responsibility of the lnstitution Nodal Officer to mobitize online applications of students and after verifications of the applications within the dateline, submit the hard copy of the approved verified list to the office of the undersigned latest by 20-01-2021.

Documents required for Assam High School TET District Wise Verification
1. The applicants have to bring all original documents as submitted in the online process for showing before the District Selection Committee.
2. The applicants must bring one set of photocopy of all documents (self attested) including the copy of acknowledgement downloaded and printed after successful submission of their online applications together with a passport size colour photograph (recent) for submission of the same during the course of verification.
3. The candidates have also to carry Photo Identification Document such as PAN card / Driving License / Bank Passbook / Adhar Card / Caste Certificate ‘Ration Card / Students Identity Card issued by Recognized Educational Institutions etc. for their identification during the process of verification.

Age: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/ MOBC and 45 years for SC/ ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD). as on 1st January, 2020 as per Govt. Office Memorandum vide No. ABP.6/2016/51 Dated 02.09.2020. This relaxation shall be applicable only to those candidates who have attained the necessary educational or other qualifications prior to crossing of their existing upper age limit of 40 years. There will be no provision for age condanation.

North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homeopathy (NEIAH), Shillong is going to admit 63 candidates each for BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) courses for the academic session 2020-21. Out of 63 seats, 31 seats will be for All India Quota, 31 seats will be for North Eastern States Quota and 1 seat is for Foreign National. All India Quota seats will be directly filld up by Ministry of AYUSH via centralized counselling, to be notified by the Ministry through its website. Foreign National seat will be filled up through Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
